The Presidio Heights neighborhood has many wonderful spots to take tiny humans, from newborns to preschoolers!
Here is a breakdown by stage of some of my top picks in the area:
This neighborhood is especially great if you have a Newborn. Two great resources, DayOne Baby and Newborn Connections, both offer lactation support, scales, and classes for the newest of tiny humans.
If you have an Infant, you can swing by the Baby Rhyme Time offered at the Presidio Branch Library. It is currently held on Thursdays at 10:15am. You can also checkout the Kinder Fun Klub at JCCSF. They have KinderBoogie on Mondays at 9:30am and 10:30am, and Saturdays at 10am. They also have KinderKrawl on Tuesdays at 10:30am. Both classes welcome 6-month-old infants.
Young Toddlers can enjoy the JCCSF Kinder Fun Klub as well by attending KinderGym for 1 to 3 year olds on Fridays or Sundays at 9:30am, KinderDance for 18 month to 3 year olds on Mondays at 10:30am or Wednesdays at 9:45am, KinderKreate for 2 to 3 year olds on Tuesdays at 10:30am, or KinderTumblers for 2 to 3 year olds on Thursdays at 10:30am. They can also attend Toddler Tales at the Presidio Branch Library on Tuesdays at 10:15am.
Older Toddlers and Preschoolers are able to burn off some energy at the Presidio Heights Playground. It has play equipment, swings, and even a variety of ride-on toys.
